Home to the West Hartford Historical Society, the Noah Webster House pays tribute to the great lexicographer, with a restored colonial museum covering his life and the history of the region in which he lived. It resides in an appealing pink building in the heart of town, near Rockledge Country Club. In addition to a bevy of historical artifacts and other exhibits, the museum features popular events like Tavern Night, when adults can eat and drink traditional food and beverage, play old fashioned tavern games, and listen to colonial music.
